Jelly Beans Day Nursery sits on Albert Street in the heart of Stapleford, Nottingham, and it has done since Kelly and Jay opened the doors in 2018. What started as a small childminding business from the family home has grown into a nursery that genuinely feels nothing like a business at all. You’ll find it hard to put your finger on exactly why, at first. Kelly is the proud owner of Jelly Beans and has been a Stapleford local throughout. As a working parent herself, she understood long before she opened this nursery that good childcare isn’t just about keeping children safe during the day. It’s about giving families the confidence to get on with their lives, knowing their child is in the hands of people who genuinely love what they do.

She started Jelly Beans Childcare in 2015, running it as a childminding business from the family home. In 2018, Kelly and her husband Jay took the step of expanding into a dedicated nursery setting on Albert Street NG9, keeping everything that made the original so special, just with a bit more room to grow. That independent, family-run spirit is still very much at the heart of what we do today.

We also work closely with local schools and early years specialists at Nottinghamshire County Council, so when the time comes for your child to move on to reception, the transition is as smooth as it can be.
